Wonderful photo shoot! I love the idea of the paper airplanes and I love the sweet vintage feel of these pics. The ones of Stasia twirling are two of my faves.

    Blessings!

  • […] I was so impressed & overjoyed with Stasia & Jonathan. I remember driving home from their engagement session on the phone with my husband so excited because they actually said ‘thank you’ and […]ReplyCancel

Every now & then, something new comes in my inbox and every now & then, I agree to a new challenge. In this case, it was photographing a gender reveal complete with 2 small children, a big box of pink or blue balloons and a family excited to find out the gender of their newest addition. I was excited to try something new, and as excited as I was, boy was I nervous! I mean, what if I sneezed? what if my battery died out of the blue? what if my card malfunctioned? I would miss it! I would miss the reaction of all 4 anxious family members to their new baby. No pressure kristin. But hey, I didn’t miss it and everything turned out peachy. Phew.

While contemplating this feeling of ‘oh no what if I screw this up’, I called Julie and asked her to meet me at the park to film video while I shot the photos. This is our collaboration of their reveal and a special treat to the Rhodes Family. Thanks for letting us in on your special day, guys!

also, over at the design blog there was a chevron coaster giveaway. happy to announce that sara was our winner! Oh and you should take a listen to her music-It is fresh, soulful and rich on melody. A taste of Tennessee, they go by the name Twain Blue . I’m quite a fan of ‘your finest ways’….what’s yours?
