Jessica & Josh are unique. I’m sure that probably goes without saying since most folks think of themselves that way. But…Jessica & Josh live out their life fearlessly and without a concern for others opinions or judgement. Jessica, a wedding photographer and Joshua, a striking (smarty pants, no..literally) accountant, found their way to each other through similar beliefs. Both in their mid-twenties, not only did they wait until they found God’s perfect match to share in their first kiss, they even waited until their wedding day. I admire their courage and I found it strikingly unique & admirable. Their wedding took place under a giant tree in the middle of Celina, Texas during one of its rare cold fronts. It was windy, chilly and perfect for their delicate vows. Married by her father, there wasn’t a dry eye in the place…nor a parent hoping their children didn’t wind up exactly like said bride & groom. Needless to say, I was honored to have been a part. Jessica, I wish we lived closer so I could give you my yellow chair and have nail painting parties-thanks for bringing me to texas! Also, a HUGE thanks to Elisabeth Bean of Elisabeth Carol Photography for helping me out that weekend-I literally could not have done it without you!
So so excited about the publicity that this photo has seen! It’s gotten its way around the internet and most recently to instagram’s ‘popular’ page where it saw a total of 15,000+ likes and over 300 comments by people I’ve never even heard of (kind of wish my watermark had been on there…#ohwellthatshiphassailed) wowcrazy. thanks for sharing my photos, you! If you’re bored and need to do a little web stalking…I’ve started an internet trail for you below. (a huge thanks to rachel for being such a beautiful bride & sweet person. check out her amazing music here) to view their wedding, click here. to view their engagement session, click here.
