She went above and beyond to make sure we were on the same page, was very organized, kept in contact and is the sweetest lady ever! I feel as though we had been friends for a long time and were just picking up from where we left off. Kristin is incredibly thorough, kind, and knows what she is doing! When you are searching for a photographer and are trying to look for a deciding factor- Kristin has it. She not only takes incredibly beautiful and romantic photos and she can style a shoot like nobody’s business. “I first contacted kristin about 2 years ago to do my engagement photos. I remember searching and searching for a photographer for weeks! I couldn’t find anything that I liked, everyone had the same pictures over and over again, the lighting was “meh” and the subjects were.. ya know boring.
Then I saw Kristin! AMAZING! I instantly fell in love with her style of photography. Her photos are beautiful and she captures moments that I think many other photographers don’t see. Her details in her lighting and subject matter never fail to impress me..even when the situations are not ideal she always makes everything flow beautifully. I also had the pleasure of working with her after my engagement shoot on three separate occasions. One for her personal portfolio which was a total blast, and may I add beautiful, my boudoir, sexy, classic and elegant, and of course my wedding day. My wedding day did not have the most ideal situations with transportation, and a few other unfortunate timing details. However, Kristin remained professional, sweet, and worked her butt off! she even helped with transportation! Which was above and beyond! The end result was fantastic as always! I never had any problems working with Kristin. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Not only is she an amazing photographer, but she is an outstanding woman. She upholds herself with grace, a high standard of professionalism, and a creative whimsey that is hard to find.”

“Kristin was very professional both during our engagement photo session as well as during the wedding. My groomsmen could be rowdy at times and she did a great job of reigning them in and making sure that they focused on taking photos so that they could have a great time afterwards and my bride and I would have great photos to look back on and have great memories. I definitely like all of the little detail photos that she took to help us remember how great everything looked -especially considering all of the planning and preparation that my wife [and me at points??] put into our special day.

“Kristin was so much more than I could have ever hoped for in a photographer. She far exceeded every expectation I had for a wedding photographer. I am pretty picky with photos and spent months searching for a wedding photographer. When I found Kristin’s site, I was blown away by her photos. She is so incredibly talented. Then I contacted her and immediately I felt like I was talking to a friend. I was not able to meet with her before the wedding because I lived on the west coast. She was so incredibly flexible and really gave me one less thing to worry about. She always puts her clients first and I really felt like a priority to her.

She was a breeze to work with and very patient, kind, and accommodating throughout our whole process. We are still trying to select our favorite pictures to frame and hang in our home and are having a difficult time because there are COUNTLESS amazing shots that we would be fortunate to hang as true ‘art’ on our walls. “Kristin was so easy to work with from our first email exchange to our wedding day. Our engagement photos are a perfect reflection of Steven and I- no forced poses or cheesy smiles all thanks to Kristin’s brilliant instruction. She even traveled four hours so we could have photos taken in some of our favorite places.
We used Kristin’s timeline on our wedding day- she kept us on schedule and also managed to capture all the special moments and details that were uniquely us. Everything happened so fast it seemed like one happy blur afterwards, making Kristin’s photos priceless reminders we will be able to look back on for years to come.
My only complaint would be having too many gorgeous photos to narrow down favorites for our gallery wall! :)”

“Best photographer in VA! Let me start off by saying that when it came to photography for my wedding, I was the pickiest person possible. It was my top priority because I knew the mood I wanted for my special day, and I wanted all the details/decorations my mom and I worked for so long on- to matter. All the photographers I looked at had beautiful images but none of them stood out. Then I came across Kristin Partins site. The first thing I thought when I saw her images was that they looked like paintings. There was so much depth, beauty, softness and a sense of fantasy in them. I’m so glad we chose her for our wedding. My confidence in our choice only grew when we did our engagement session with Kristin, each photo was thought out with great composition. I’ve gotten so many compliments on them! Then for the wedding she was great with my family, especially my 5 year old nephew who can be a handful and our grandparents who don’t move quite as fast. She kept everyone calm and my wedding party had a great time taking direction from her, especially for some silly portraits. If you want unique and romantic photographs, if you want a photographer who will be organized the day of the wedding, who cares about the details and who will get your photos to you quickly- use Kristin Partin Photography!”
